UEFA announced Attwell’s selection as one of England’s representatives at Euro 2024 yesterday, which is absurd considering the announcement’s date.

Although he doesn’t support Attwell’s integrity being questioned, it seems that he is aware of the club’s complaints.
“There are statements dropping like confetti from all sorts of parties over the past day or so after a very important game,” Given said to The Monday Night Club.
“They have a good case for all three penalties, if you want to focus on just those three: the first player was clipped, Ashley Young was definitely seen moving his hand toward the ball in the second, and the third player was tackled from behind.
“There is a compelling case that all three should have been given if you look at that from a football perspective.”

Ultimately, Forest must continue to battle on the field because there is currently nothing that can be done about this circumstance.
The game cannot be replayed, as Given stated later in the conversation, and from a Forest standpoint, those three points are now lost.
The Reds’ only option is to put their unfair sentiments aside and channel them into motivation to win more games this year.
Things could appear more promising if Forest could put on a strong performance against Manchester City and then visit Sheffield United the following week with confidence.
In the end, the VAR has let Forest down once more, and it’s encouraging to hear Given talk without bias because other commentators don’t appear to be able to do the same.
Forest’s battle to stay in the Premier League cannot be given up on; they must continue.
