Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott is not the most popular NASCAR Cup Series driver on social media. Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch takes the crown with a tiny margin over Elliott’s fans on major social media platforms.
Recently, a NASCAR reporter shared the combined follower count of the top ten Cup Series drivers on X, Facebook, and Instagram. Despite winning the NASCAR Cup Most Popular Driver Award for the seventh time on November 22, 2024, Elliott fell one spot short of topping the list.
Kyle Busch sits on the top of the list with 2,018,300 combined followers on the three platforms. He has 987,900 followers on X, 435,100 on Instagram, and 595,300 on Facebook. On the other hand, Chase Elliott has 1,924,600 followers on his three social media handles. He has 930,500 followers on X, 492,000 on Instagram, and 502,100 on Facebook. Busch leads the list with almost 94,000 followers.
Kyle Larson was next in line with 1,322,800 followers, followed by Denny Hamlin’s 1,271,900 orange and purple army. Brad Keselowski, the co-owner of RFK Racing, was fifth on the list with 1,158,400 followers, and the three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, Joey Logano, was placed sixth with his 1,135,400 followers on his social media platforms.
Chase Elliott recently turned 29 and inked a new deal with his primary sponsor for the 2025 season.
