It’s always kind of fun when a celebrity gets spotted wearing “Colorado” gear. In mid-December of 2024, Bruce Springsteen was on set in New Jersey as they were filming a movie about him, wearing a “Colorado” hat. What is that hat?
A better question could be, “Why is he wearing TWO hats?” as indeed, ‘The Boss” wasn’t warm enough with just one. For Springsteen fans who are also fans of Colorado it worked out O.K.

In 2024, they were producing a movie about Bruce Springsteen making his album ‘Nebraska,’ entitled “Deliver Me From Nowhere;” starring Jeremy Allen White (The Bear) as Springsteen.
Springsteen, himself, was on location for a lot of the filming, including one day at Ashbury Park, New Jersey. It was on that day that he was spotted in a hat that depicts a Colorado license plate.

I saw picture and said, “What is that hat?” because, it looks like a cool hat. I’m a (bald) guy that wears a lot of ball caps, so this “Colorado” one caught my eye. Also, the fact that he’s wearing two hats. Why?
I tracked down the hat’s origin. It’s a Ralph Lauren hat, from his ‘Double R” line. “Double R” coming from the name of his ranch in Ridgway, Colorado, which he established in 1993: “RRL-093.”
The “1967” refers to when Lauren launched his clothing line.
