Nottingham Forest is poised to accept a £4 million bid for Joe Worrall this summer, which will contribute directly to their profits,
Nuno Espirito Santo’s team managed to avoid relegation, but to finance summer squad improvements, they will need to generate funds. One potential departure from City Ground is Joe Worrall, who spent the latter half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Besiktas.
Nottingham Forest to gain pure profit from Worrall sale
On the Inside Track podcast, O’Rourke commented: “With Joe Worrall now back, I think Forest will be open to offers for him. Many clubs will see him as an affordable option.””Clubs will be able to sign him for around £4 million, but with Worrall having two years remaining on his contract, the deal will need to suit him as well. While the transfer fee might not be substantial, it will represent pure profit on the books since he’s a homegrown player.”
