Luka Doncic wins multimillion contract after been named Western Conference Finals MVP

 

Luka Doncic was voted the series MVP after the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves to end the Western Conference Finals series.

 

After averaging 32.4 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 8.4 assists to lead his team to their first NBA Finals trip since 2011, the 25-year-old was awarded the Magic Johnson Trophy.

Doncic scored 33 points in a close Game 1 victory to set the tone early in the series. After that, he put on another masterclass, defeating Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert with a game-winning three-pointer that saw him score 32 points.

Doncic finished the game with 36 points and 10 rebounds on Thursday night to earn a trip to his first NBA Finals. After scoring 20 points in the first quarter by himself, he didn’t turn around.

Even though Doncic is only 25, he has already started leaving his mark, so making it to his first Finals looked like a vital first step toward starting to be spoken in the same breath as some of the greatest.
