The rumour of a Rangers transfer has been addressed.

Concerning James Tavernier’s future with the Rangers, Philippe Clement has answered all your questions.

Following a 3-0 loss to Celtic prior to the international break, the captain’s relocation to Turkey and Qatar was speculated about. He had been the subject of rumours of moving before this year, with speculation of big-money in Saudi Arabia during the previous campaign.

Then, throughout the summer, former colleagues Borna Barisic and John Lundstram were at Trabzonspor in Turkey. Now that the team has played a bounce game against Motherwell, Clement has addressed the rumours in front of a Premiership matchup with Dundee United and stated that no offers are on the table.

“I don’t know what is real about all these rumours,” he remarked. The club received no proposals in that manner. I haven’t seen a player move about so much in eight months since I kept reading that he was going to move around a lot.

Regarding his captain, Clement continued, “Those who stand in front of the ship and maintain order when things get tough are the true captains.” That is what he has been doing, then. He has been practicing extremely hard and concentrating on the team and himself.

“Having the appropriate mindset when participating in this Motherwell game. I didn’t see a difference because I was assisting the young boys and the new guys in integrating here.
