Rafa Ramos departs from Salisbury FC

The forward, who has previously played for Hamworthy United and Bashley, comes to join after making an impression on the management group during his matches against Salisbury in the previous campaign. He scored both goals in the FA Trophy match in October of that year.

He had a poor start at Gosport, but as the season progressed, he recovered his shooting form and in March, he scored a hat-trick against Didcot.

“I’m delighted to secure the big man Rafa Ramos for next season,” says Brian Dutton, expressing his satisfaction at landing one of his priorities ahead of schedule.

We faced him four times for Gosport Borough last season, and he was a constant source of frustration for us. Being 6 feet 3 inches tall and extremely strong, he brings a new dimension to our assault. Last season, he scored 28 goals across all competitions, which is an incredible return. Next season, the Salisbury supporters will undoubtedly embrace him and appreciate his work.

After joining Salisbury, Rafa Ramos stated, “I think Salisbury is a club going in the right direction.” I feel like it was the proper decision since, after talking with the Gaffer, he did a great job of selling me Salisbury.

“The fans have a significant impact; naturally, I experienced that at Gosport as well. I really enjoyed the vibe here when I played here a few times, so I’m looking forward to that as well.
