Millwall duo return to full training as comfirmed by Neil Harris

Billy Mitchell and Adam Mayor have resumed full training, according to Millwall manager Neil Harris.

Due to a quad injury, midfielder Micthell, who was a vital member of Harris’ team towards the conclusion of the previous year, has missed the opening of the current campaign.

During the preseason, 19-year-old Winger Mayor injured his hamstring. After moving from Morecambe, he made four appearances in the second part of the previous campaign.

For the first time this week, “they’re back in full training,” Harris said to the South London Press.

But it will take at least three or four weeks for me to return to the squad.

“The players have finished the first two and a half weeks of their six-week pre-season training.

They still have two and a half to three weeks left, most likely.

“We’re hoping both will be good for West Brom, either before or right after the international break.”

Tom Bradshaw of the Lions is still out due to a hamstring injury he sustained against Leyton Orient in the EFL Cup.

“Bradders is going to be at least six weeks from now,” Harris continued.
