Wallace has only made one appearance in the league this season—a 1-0 cup loss at home against Leyton Orient—and has only played once for Neil Harris’ team. He did miss the first two weeks of the campaign due to injury, though.
He was not included in the Lions’ matchday squad for their Saturday matchup against Luton, a match that Harris’ team lost 1-0, but he is now healthy again.
Wallace has been with Millwall for more than six years and has been instrumental in helping the team establish itself as a reliable Championship team. However, given his lack of playing time in the first few weeks of the season, it’s possible that his time with the team is coming to an end.

Having brought him to the team in 2018 and worked with him for a considerable amount of time, Harris will be well aware of his potential. However, due to injuries and other players finding form at the wrong time, Harris has dropped down the The Den hierarchy.
He will provide some valuable depth to Millwall’s lineup this season because he can play both left and centre back, but it’s unlikely that he will feature much.
This implies that if Wallace left in the summer or in January of the following year, it wouldn’t come as a shock.
Although Wallace has been a superb member of the Lions’ team lately, injuries have come at the wrong moment, and it seems doubtful that he will be able to return to the starting lineup for the Championship at this time.
