Ezra Mam’s mother speaks out : disclosing surprising new information regarding her son’s car crash controversy.

A mother involved in an Uber that collided with Brisbane Broncos player Ezra Mam’s vehicle has spoken out, revealing that her daughter suffered a broken hip in the crash. The accident occurred in Bardon last Friday while Mam was reportedly moving house. Both mother and daughter were hospitalized after the traumatic event, with the mother noting her daughter also sustained severe burns from the seatbelt.

Police conducted roadside tests, and while Mam allegedly failed a drug test, he tested negative for alcohol. The Queensland Police and the NRL’s Integrity Unit are currently investigating the incident and awaiting the results of a secondary drug test, which may take weeks.

The mother recalled the moment of the collision, expressing her distress during the aftermath when the Uber door was jammed. She criticized the media focus on Mam, stating that little attention has been given to her Uber driver or their situation. She mentioned that Brisbane Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy reached out, but she hasn’t heard from Mam.

Mam’s management stated he is seeking immediate professional treatment in rehab and expressed his remorse for the incident, emphasizing his concern for those involved.

Legal expert Tom Taylor warned that Mam could face serious charges, potentially leading to jail time. He indicated that the nature of the charges would depend on the evidence gathered during the investigation, particularly regarding the alleged presence of drugs in Mam’s system. If injuries were sustained by the other vehicle’s occupants, Mam could be facing significant legal consequences, with potential imprisonment of up to 14 years.
