TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— Alabama upset No. 2 Georgia on Saturday night inside Bryant-Denny Stadium, 41-34. The Crimson Tide offense was clicking in the first half, but the Bulldogs fought back to take the lead in the fourth quarter before Jalen Milroe connected with Ryan Williams for the game-winning score.
The Crimson Tide targeted 11 different players in the passing game, including Kendrick Law. The junior wide receiver also was involved in a trick play early in the second quarter, when he got injured. Law went to the injury tent and never returned. After the game, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said it was a lower body injury.
“I don’t know what he’ll be, but it was unfortunate,” DeBoer said. “I thought he had a really great week or two of practice and kept building, too. He was putting in a lot. I know he was really juiced up before the game. Thought he was doing some good things just as far as helping our offense. It might not be things that show up on the stat sheet. So unfortunately he wasn’t able to be there with us throughout the whole game.

- Alabama safety DeVonta Smith goes down midway through the third quarter and is looked at by the Crimson Tide medical staff. He runs off the field under his own power, but goes straight to the medical tent.
- Law come out of the locker room after halftime without his helmet, which usually signifies that he will not return tonight.
- Alabama linebacker Justin Jefferson has been taken to the locker room. He was walking there under his own power, but he did have a towel over his head.
- Alabama wide receiver Kendrick Law was seen limping on the sideline near the medical tent early in the second quarter. He has not re-entered the game. It doesn’t appear that Law is still on the sidelines.
Pregame updates
- Qua Russaw is also dressed out and participating in warmups. He has a sleeve on his leg.
- Jeremiah Alexander, Cole Adams and Richard Young are dressed out and participating in warmups for the Crimson Tide. Adams’ right arm his heavily protected in a black cast/wrap. Alexander has not played this season.
