The highly anticipated clash between Alabama and Georgia has concluded, with the Tide securing an impressive victory on Saturday. However, rivalry games often come with risk of injuries, and a few Tide players were affected during the contest.
Kendrick Law, one of the Tide’s standout wide receivers, sustained a lower body injury that remains unspecified. “I don’t know what he’ll be,” said Kalen DeBoer.
“But it’s unfortunate, because I thought he really had a great week or two of practice and kept building too, a lot.” Law left the game in the second quarter and did not return, finishing with one reception for 19 yards.
Linebacker Justin Jefferson, who has been adapting well to Kane Wommack’s defensive scheme, also suffered an injury but managed to leave the field under his own power. Details regarding his condition have not yet been disclosed.
Prior to the game, Qua Russaw, Jeremiah Alexander, and Richard Young were listed as probable on the Southeastern Conference injury report. Cole Adams status was also uncertain, despited not being included on the report.
Russaw, Alexander, Young, and Adams participated in warm-ups and were deemed active for the game. However, only Adams and Russaw saw playing time, with Russaw delivering a forced fumble on quarterback Carson Beck.
