Paul Robinson has promised to ‘give my absolute all’ to help Birmingham City stay in the Championship after returning to the club as part of Gary Rowett’s coaching staff.
Former Blues captain Robinson rejoined the club last week after Rowett was appointed interim manager until the end of the season. Rowett has been parachuted in to keep Blues in the Championship after results deteriorated in the absence of Tony Mowbray.
Having played under Rowett during his time in charge at St Andrew’s previously, Robinson first joined his coaching staff at Millwall in the summer of 2021. He spent two years working under Rowett at The Den before leaving in November.
Posting about his return to Blues on his Instagram page, Robinson, 45, said: “It’s been a crazy few days but it feels so good to be back! I can’t thank everyone enough for the amazing messages of support and love, it’s very much appreciated. I will give my absolute ALL in helping this club… eight games to go! Let’s do this all together.”
