Carlton Palmer expresses concern over the information he’s receiving from West Brom

As Leicester City begins its search for a new manager, Carlton Palmer has voiced his apprehensions about Carlos Corberan’s future based on information he’s gathered from West Bromwich Albion.Reading join Charlton and Stockport in race for Sheffield Wednesday winger - Yahoo Sport

Corberan had a successful season at West Brom, despite minimal financial support in both the summer and January transfer windows. While the recent takeover by Bilkul Football should alleviate financial constraints, there’s a possibility of a managerial domino effect, particularly with Enzo Maresca reportedly poised to leave Leicester for Chelsea.

Carlton Palmer expresses concern over the information he’s receiving from West Brom, making him Chelsea’s fourth manager in just two seasons. While, theoretically, Chelsea’s managerial decisions may not directly affect West Brom, reports indicate that Carlos Corberan, the Baggies’ boss, could emerge as one of Leicester’s primary candidates to succeed Maresca. Such a scenario would represent a significant setback for West Brom.

The winger’s impressive performance for Hull City during the 2020-21 season in the third tier, where he scored 22 goals and provided nine assists, are figures that the interested clubs are optimistic he can replicate.

Despite Charlton and Reading experiencing disappointing seasons, finishing 16th and 17th, respectively, in the previous campaign, both clubs aspire to enhance their ambitions and climb higher up the table in the upcoming season.

All three clubs view Wilks as a potential game-changer for their respective ambitions and believe he could significantly impact their fortunes.

With the possibility of either a permanent transfer or a loan move away from Wednesday, Wilks is likely eager to seek more playing time elsewhere.

In other news, West Ham is reportedly keen on acquiring Max Kilman in a £40 million transfer deal.
