ROVERS LUCK: What you need to know about the FA Cup first-round proper draw

 

Bristol Rovers will be assigned ball number 9 in the 2024-25 Emirates FA Cup First Round Proper draw tonight at Bradford City’s University of Bradford Stadium.

Supporters can watch the draw live on BBC Two beginning at 7 p.m. 48 EFL teams from Sky Bet League One and League Two enter the competition at this stage, joining the 32 non-league teams that advanced from the qualifying rounds.

Last season, the Gas advanced to the third round of the FA Cup after defeating Whitby Town 7-2 at The Memorial Stadium, followed by a 4-2 victory away at Crewe Alexandra, which earned them a tie against Norwich.

Rovers forced a replay following a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road, with Grant Ward scoring, but Norwich advanced to the next round with a 3-1 win in the replay.

The First Round Proper tie will be contested from Friday, November 1 to Monday, November 4, 2024.
