We seem to have learned how to be a strong, decent club at this point. However, we now need to focus on being an excellent club.

It was a very good performance.

Patrick Cripps, the captain of Carlton, is determined to elevate his club following the manner in which the 2024 campaign concluded.

Although it is never ideal to leave the finals series early, Cripps is confident that they can use their dissatisfaction and annoyance as a group to spur each other on to greater goals and determination.

The 29-year-old acknowledged that hard work and perseverance are necessary for success, reflecting on his early days at Carlton and the progress the Club had made during that time. He also acknowledged that the Blues would need to ask the difficult questions in order to achieve their goals.

“You don’t simply hop from one place to another. These are the lessons that must be learned, and as a club, we have been at the bottom for a very long time, and that is the truth, said Cripps.
