CARLTON TOP PLAYER RULED OUT OF 2025 SEASON DUE TO INJURY CRISIS

Carlton Football Club has been hit hard by injuries heading into the 2025 AFL season. The club recently confirmed that several key players will miss substantial parts of the season due to injuries, compounding their injury woes from previous years.

Among the most significant setbacks, star forward Charlie Curnow, winner of multiple Coleman Medals, is sidelined with an ankle injury, while Harry McKay is also out due to a quad issue.

These injuries come at a crucial time for the Blues, as both players were expected to be pivotal in their quest for finals contention.

Additionally, Jack Silvagni, who ruptured his ACL during training, is ruled out for the entire season, following in the unfortunate footsteps of other Carlton players who have suffered ACL injuries in recent seasons

These injuries follow a string of other health concerns, including Adam Saad and Jack Martin both suffering hamstring injuries, along with Lachie Fogarty (collarbone) and Jordan Boyd (adductor), adding to the Blues’ already extensive injury list.

Carlton is hopeful that some of these absentees will return mid-season, but the absence of so many top players at the start of the 2025 campaign is a huge blow to their season plans

With these key players missing, Carlton’s depth will be tested as they navigate through the early stages of the AFL season.
