Celtic will not sign the Bellingham-like midfielder, who is close to a £4 million trade.

Already, the summer is looking like it will be quite significant for Celtic, the current Scottish Premiership winners.

Given that Joe Hart will soon be retiring, Brendan Rodgers will require a new goalkeeper. The team is also without a natural left-sided full-back after Alexandro Bernabei left. Another choice to be made concerns Adam Idah, the Norwich City loanee who is making an impression while on loan but whose permanent contract is currently up in the air.
It’s possible that Celtic will look to acquire another central midfield player. Especially if Paulo Bernardo joins Benfica again and The Hoops get an offer for the highly regarded Matt O’Riley that they just can’t turn down.
But if O’Riley departs, Ardon Jashari won’t be around to fill those vacancies. With two months of the season left, a player who has been linked to Celtic on and off for more than a year suddenly seems to have a deal arranged.
Celtic is poised to make a move for at least £4 million.
Jashari will join Belgian powerhouse Club Brugge from FC Luzern in his home Switzerland, according to Het Nieuwsblad and Het Laaste Nieuws.
Brugge is apparently paying more than £4 million for the Luzern captain, who they hope to recruit as their new head coach. Nistelrooy is a legend at Manchester United. Sooner rather than later, Jashari is anticipated to make his public debut at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
This effectively ends any speculation that Jashari, who played for Switzerland in the World Cup in Qatar and has been compared to Jude Bellingham because of his box-to-box skills, might be considered once more by a Celtic team whose hiring practices have come under fire since Rodgers’ return.
In recent transfer windows, Jashari, who is still only 21 years old, has also been connected to Leeds United and Arsenal.
A busy summer is ahead of Brendan Rodgers.
“Jashari is a qualified leader due to his personality. Scout Oliver Zesiger compares the young player to former Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka of Bayer Leverkusen, saying, “You rarely see that at this age.”
Granit has greater physical strength. However, the ball can be moved forward by both players. The two are very adept at reading a game and recovering possession of the ball. He will undoubtedly wind up at a team in one of the top five leagues in Europe if things keep going this way.
Perhaps that trip begins with a stay at Club Brugge.
Meanwhile, HITC knows that Coaimhin Kelleher of Liverpool is Celtic’s top target in the goalkeeping position. The Glasgow giants have also observed Ugurcan Cakir, the skipper of Trabzonspor.
