During a discussion on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Halliday highlighted Barron’s performance in Aberdeen’s narrow loss to Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final, calling him the “best player on the pitch.”
“To be honest, I felt that Connor Barron was the best player on the pitch on Saturday,” Andy Halliday remarked.
“In the summer, his contract expires. While I’m not attempting to sway him from Aberdeen, I always believe that Celtic and Rangers should focus on them when seeking to add domestic players to their European rosters.
“I felt he was very good.
