Coventry City’s manager, Mark Robins, stated on Saturday, according to CoventryLive: “He’s a player we want to keep tabs on and monitor his progress. However, that will be determined in due course, based on various factors.” Binks’ willingness to depart Bologna is a positive sign for Coventry City’s chances of securing his services, provided they are interested in bringing him back to England.

The former England youth international progressed through the academy system at Tottenham Hotspur and later represented the Premier League club at various youth levels. Binks then made the move to Canada in 2020 to join Montreal Impact. After breaking into the first team of the MLS club, he attracted the attention of Bologna. He has been with Stadio Renato Dall’Ara and has made 15 appearances for them in the last four years. The defender had a loan spell at Como before joining Coventry City just over a year ago.
