BREAKING NEWS: £30m Liverpool star should be on his way after what happened this weekend

Jurgen Klopp could unleash latest rising Liverpool star but Ben Doak wait continues - Yahoo Sport

This past weekend, Liverpool lost to Crystal Palace, and one of their players was instructed to leave after being benched by Jurgen Klopp.

The game was won by Ebere Eze’s goal, despite the Reds having numerous excellent opportunities to equalize with Palace.
Jamie Carragher bemoaned Darwin Nunez’s failure to capitalize on a great opportunity as the huge striker failed to score once more.
But Nunez wasn’t the only one with plenty of options; Diogo Jota and Mo Salah also had a ton of them.
Looking back, the goalie and defense had a fairly calm day overall.
Though he did make a spectacular reflex stop at close range to keep out Jean-Phillipe Mateta, a returning Alisson didn’t have much to do.

Naturally, after playing well in recent weeks, Caoimhin Kelleher was benched in favor of Alisson following his injury comeback.

Kelleher is regarded as one of the league’s top number twos and is valued at approximately £30 million by the Reds.

If Kelleher wants to become a regular starter, he may need to make a change this summer because Alisson is unquestionably the best player and isn’t going anywhere just yet.

Additionally, former Tottenham goalie Kasey Keller stated on ESPN FC that Kelleher must leave Liverpool immediately.

“I would have to participate. Of course I would be leaving. That was at Spurs, too. I was neither young nor British, and Spurs had decided at the board level that they wanted to be, so yes, we had a lot of chats and I got to go to Gladbach and play,” Keller remarked.

Caoimhin Kelleher gets in a lot of Premier League teams

Many players eventually have to seek elsewhere for their next step in their careers, and Caoimhin Kelleher is about to reach that point.

At 25, the Ireland international can no longer afford to wait around and hope that Alisson loses to him.

Alisson still has a long way to go, therefore it’s difficult to see a new manager at Liverpool just throwing the seasoned Brazilian in the trash.

Therefore, Kelleher needs to find a way out this summer and get his agents to work for him. Numerous Premier League and European teams would be willing to sign him as well.

Moving away from a major club can be advantageous, as Dean Henderson at Palace shown, and Kelleher must now make the step.
