Leeds United ‘identify’ QPR man as transfer target as Millwall ‘agree’ deal

Leeds 'identify' QPR man as transfer target as Millwall 'agree' deal

Here’s the latest news and transfer rumors from the Championship as another busy weekend of action unfolds.

Saturday’s Championship fixtures saw Cardiff City and Swansea City set to face off in the South Wales derby on Sunday. Millwall and QPR both earned a point on Saturday, extending their search for a first league win.

Millwall secured a crucial away draw against Hull City, while QPR were held at home by Plymouth Argyle, who finished the match with nine players. As both teams review their performances, we’ve compiled the latest updates and transfer rumors surrounding Championship clubs.

Nisbet deal agreed

Millwall forward Kevin Nisbet has secured a loan move to Aberdeen for the season, with terms agreed between the two clubs. According to the Daily Record, the deal is now finalized, and Nisbet is scheduled for a medical this weekend.

The Scotland international, who netted five goals in 27 appearances for Millwall last season after his move from Hibernian on a three-year contract, does not seem to be in Neil Harris’ plans. The 27-year-old will return to Scotland, albeit on a temporary basis for now.

Leeds ‘agree’ Spurs deal

Leeds United are set to sign Tottenham’s Manor Solomon as they look to strengthen their attack following the exits of Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville. According to HITC, Solomon has agreed to join Leeds, turning down offers from both English and international clubs.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Solomon had decided to leave North London but rejected an offer from Getafe to stay in England. While the specifics of the deal are not yet known, Solomon had also drawn interest from Ipswich Town, Leicester City, Sheffield United, and Norwich City.

Chair interest

Continuing with Leeds United, Football Insider reports that the club is aiming to finalize a late-window deal for QPR’s Ilia Chair. Leeds is in search of a new number 10 to replace Georginio Rutter, and Chair has been identified as a potential candidate.

Chair is in the final year of his contract, which puts QPR in a challenging position to retain him. Leeds are expected to ‘test QPR’s resolve’ as they seek to secure the playmaker.
