Red-hot Millwall attacker is a Fantasy EFL hit

Despite Duncan Watmore’s impressive performance in the latest Fantasy EFL game, the Millwall forward has refrained from participating.

Prior to the international break, the Lions defeated Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 with the attacker both scoring and providing an assist.

Fantasy EFL players are hoping Watmore, who now has 38 points, can increase his tally this weekend when he plays Luton Town at home.

The former Middlesbrough and Sunderland player has the highest score of any forward on the list; he is tied with Josh Maja of West Brom.

Each week, participants in the Fantasy EFL game select seven players from every EFL game. Throughout the season, you are allowed to choose a player as many times as you like, but each gameweek, you are limited to choosing no more than two players from a single team.

Depending on how they perform, you can select two clubs that will score points for your team as well. But during the season, you can only choose a club a maximum of five times.

You can choose one player per week to be your captain, earning double points. If your captain is unavailable to play, your vice-captain will take over.

Following his role to the victory over the Owls, Watmore was compared by Millwall on social networking platform X to Erling Haaland in the Fantasy EFL.

In response to the question, Watmore stated, “No, I don’t.” I’ve participated in the Fantasy Premier League before, but not in the EFL. In the current game, that’s not a terrible start; I’ll take it.

“I’m not sure if any friends or relatives are participating in it. They haven’t yet notified me whether they are.

It was before the international break that Millwall won at The Den this season.

Watmore remarked, “It’s really significant because it’s such a great venue, the crowd is incredible, and we love performing there.” “When we’re at home, we always want to deliver it. putting together those shows and environments.

To be really honest, I felt that we played a really strong game against Watford as well. And I believe that if the game had been played on a different day, we would have also won three points.

“It was nice that the outcome and our eventual handsome victory this time justified the performance.”
