Deal Exit Ravens Sign Josh Jones, a Free Agent OL

The Baltimore Ravens are in need of bodies up front after Kevin Zeitler and Morgan Moses left. Ideally, bodies that can support rookie running back Derrick Henry’s run blocking and quarterback Lamar Jackson’s pass protection.

He participated in both of Houston’s postseason games and started three games during the regular season. Jones may be moved around as needed, but his expected spot at tackle is on the left side, behind Ronnie Stanley. Stanle, Andrew Vorhees, Tyler Linderbaum, Ben Cleveland, Patrick Mekari, Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, Tashawn Manning, Daniel Faalele, and TyKeem Doss are among the offensive linemen he joins. The Jets received Moses and a fourth-round pick from the Ravens earlier this month in return for a fourth and sixth-round pick. Following the trade of fourth-round selections, Baltimore will now be selected at number 112, while New York will now be selected at number 134. A few days later, Zeitler, a free agent, signed to terms with the Detroit Lions to take Jonah Jackson’s spot in Los Angeles. Zeitler had previously stated that he felt he could complete his career in Charm City and that a return to Baltimore was “obvious”. It was not to be, though.
