In order to assist the Northallerton Male Voice Choir (NMVC) in moving its mobile staging and musical instruments, Simon Bailes Peugeot has offered to donate a van.

The concert promoters’ long-standing logistical and safety issues will be resolved with the new car.

NMVC, a mainstay of the North Yorkshire community since its founding in 1968, has expanded from four members to about fifty. It has given around 600 concerts, engaging audiences and generating a substantial amount of money for different charities.

During a concert at Bedale & District Methodist Church, where the choir raised £900 for the church, the vehicle was first utilised.

“We are thrilled to support Northallerton Male Voice Choir, a group that embodies the spirit of community,” stated Sheldon Cockburn, head of operations at Simon Bailes Peugeot. This sponsorship is a reflection of our dedication to supporting local projects and giving back.”

The NMVC secretary, Richard Parkin, continued, saying: “Simon Bailes Peugeot’s assistance has been priceless. We can overcome earlier obstacles and raise more money for charity organisations thanks to the van, which allows us to bring music to new locations and reach larger audiences.”
