BREAKDOWN: Forest supporters worry over rising ticket prices.

Nottingham Forest appeal against four-point deduction in Premier League for PSR breach | Football News | Sky Sports

Nottingham Forest announced major price increases for the 2024–25 season this week, making them the most recent Premier League team to do so.

Supporters of the forest argue that many will undoubtedly be priced out by the increases, especially teens and young adults, as those age groups will be hardest hurt.

The club’s youngster tickets will soon be subject to new limitations; they will no longer be available to anybody under the age of 19. That means an 18-year-old sitting in some parts of the stadium may pay £850 for a ticket instead of less than £190.

The increases, according to Nottingham Forest Supporters’ Trust, are “totally disproportionate” and will probably drive away individuals. Forza Garibaldi, the club’s flag organization, also denounced the price increases and announced that they would no longer be holding future displays at the City Ground in protest. “We are appalled and irritated by the notable increase in season card costs,” they declared.

Clubs have experienced inflation, particularly with regard to utilities, which are included in “other expenses.” However, any increases must be limited and carefully considered.
