according to sources speaking to Football Insider. On the latest episode of the Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke disclosed that Sheffield United and other Championship clubs have expressed interest in the 27-year-old.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team managed to avoid relegation, but to finance summer squad improvements, they will need to generate funds. One potential departure from City Ground is Joe Worrall, who spent the latter half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Besiktas.

On the Inside Track podcast, O’Rourke commented: “With Joe Worrall now back, I think Forest will be open to offers for him. Many clubs will see him as an affordable option.””Clubs will be able to sign him for around £4 million, but with Worrall having two years remaining on his contract, the deal will need to suit him as well. While the transfer fee might not be substantial, it will represent pure profit on the books since he’s a homegrown player.”
