Nottingham Forest set to agree to a £4 million offer for Joe Worrall

Nottingham Forest is poised to accept a £4 million bid for Joe Worrall this summer, which will contribute directly to their profits,

according to sources speaking to Football Insider. On the latest episode of the Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke disclosed that Sheffield United and other Championship clubs have expressed interest in the 27-year-old.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team managed to avoid relegation, but to finance summer squad improvements, they will need to generate funds. One potential departure from City Ground is Joe Worrall, who spent the latter half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Besiktas.

While the transfer fee might not be substantial, it will represent pure profit on the books since he’s a homegrown player.”
