Nuno now faces a major Spurs conundrum, hence the transfer decision to Nottingham Forest was warranted.

Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and Matz Sels after victory over Fulham

A: He remained composed the entire Tuesday night. When Fulham began to exert some pressure in the second half and when a couple of set pieces were sent in, he remained composed.

There was a period of time when Fulham swiftly earned several corners. Given Forest’s set-piece problems and the fact that he had already scored from one, if one had gone in, it might have been a bit of a tipping point. But Sels was cool, composed, and unflappable. a constant presence.

Since he started, his dispersion has been generally quite strong. It also helps to have a player like Murillo in front of him because, as he demonstrated again on Tuesday night, he is undoubtedly capable of picking a pass. This implies that even if Sels is unable to locate the ball, he can still pass it to Murillo and rely on him to take action.

Sels has, in my opinion, done fairly well thus far. Even if it has taken some time to get there, perfecting the goalkeeping position was always going to be crucial.

He has provided evidence to support the choice to bring him in January. In games, goalies can have a significant impact, and he has.He made a fantastic stop that was crucial in the 3-1 victory over Fulham. That is a couple more that he can make, and Forest might very well need him to.

Q: What a fantastic performance. Danilo Yates gave outstanding performances. MGW’s intelligence is beyond words.

A: Morgan GibbsIs White really that remarkable of a player? He had an amazing first half on Tuesday. He was the driving force behind everything, the one pulling the strings, and he deservedly earned his goal. It was fantastic to see him register a goal, as it appropriately concluded an incredible first half from him. Then, as the game changed in the second half, he assisted Forest in getting deeper.

It only goes to highlight, in my opinion, why you play Gibbs-White in that role of 10.Yes, as demonstrated on Saturday, he is capable of playing deeper. But as a number 10, you can truly see him excel.

Gio Reyna still has a lot of work ahead of him if he wants to be in the starting lineup, in my opinion. When he is performing at that level, he will not be able to pass Gibbs-White for the top slot.

The best course of action must be to continue with the attacking trio of Calum Hudson-Odoi, Anthony Elanga, and Gibbs-White. Even though Elanga was the quietest of the three, trouble still arose. Prior to being pulled out of the starting lineup, Hudson-Odoi was on a roll, but on Tuesday, he handled his goal incredibly well and established a good connection with Ola Aina down the left side.

I support mentioning Danilo and Ryan Yates specifically. Although Danilo’s season has been up and down, that was his greatest performance of the year thus far. Doesn’t he seem to enjoy this time of year? About this time last year, he started to show his true potential.

Both midfielders put forth a lot of effort and covered a lot of territory.Yates continues to receive criticism, but I felt he performed admirably on Tuesday. Even if his technical skill set may not be the best, a team nonetheless needs a guy like him. He has a way of getting under people’s skin.

Q: When we play Chas n Dave (Spurs) on Tuesday night, I hope Nuno stays with the same squad.

A: I believe that Sunday still has a few important decisions to be made. Though I do believe there should be some consistency there and I’m not a huge supporter of switching center backs for the purpose of it, if Billy Boly is fit, I would still start him.

Boly seems to have an impact on Luton. He has good experience and has a muscular presence that could be helpful against the Spurs. However, Andrew Omobamidele performed well, therefore it would be unfair to omit him.

Additionally, I believe there is a little midfield conundrum. Against Fulham, Yates and Danilo performed admirably, but it was at the City Ground. Does that combination still hold up away from home, especially when facing a club like the Spurs?Due to its importance in the pitch, it is something to consider.

Making this decision is not easy. I absolutely understand the benefits of maintaining the starting lineup, especially considering how infrequently a team has gone without a change. When deciding who should be left out of any changes that Nuno wants to make, it can be difficult.

But I sincerely hope the offensive configuration remains the same.Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, and Elanga might all pose issues for the Spurs.

Q: I would want to highlight Omobamidele. He simply enters the game and performs his duties. He reads the game well and is a solid passer. A wonderful opportunity for the future.

A: I concur. Murillo and Obamidele have a very promising partnership. Although they are both young and somewhat inexperienced, both are already quite good and will only grow better. They also collaborate really effectively.

Similar to Murillo, Omobamidele was seen as a highly promising player upon signing. Simply put, Omobamidele took a little longer to get through to the other side. At initially, he was ahead of players, and Steve Cooper believed that his defense required improvement. However, Cooper was aware of Omobamidele’s skill as a passer.

However, Omobamidele has improved since joining the team. Since he hasn’t done anything wrong, he has been somewhat unlucky to lose his position.

Today’s defenders depend so much on their ability to use the ball effectively. Your center backs must be able to move playmakers and feel at ease with the ball at their feet in order to succeed in the Premier League. Odobamidele and Murillo are both capable of that.

Would prefer that we use our corners to do more work. Can’t recall when we last done that? All in all, a fantastic performance last night by everyone, even the replacements.

A: Well said regarding the substitutes. Everybody had a role to play. For the last several minutes, Harry Toffolo remained steadfast. Reyna still contributed some energy, though not quite as much as she did over the weekend. Nearly scoring was Divock Origi. Nicolas Dominguez also fulfilled his part.

Actually, I hope to see Diegoz return to the XI at some time. He’s had some bad luck falling in the hierarchy. He must take advantage of every chance he gets to push his way back in, but it is another story entirely as to who would make room for him.

Free kicks and corners are undoubtedly still major areas that need to be improved. The audience and players ran the risk of having a “oh, here we go” kind of night when Gibbs-White delivered an early corner over the heads of everyone in the box. But after raising his hands in remorse, he more than made up for it with his next performance.

I believe that he is the kind of player that likes to be in charge of set pieces. However, it is undoubtedly worthwhile to try someone else.Neco Williams demonstrated his ability to score free kicks for Wales. Set-pieces can be such a useful weapon that it is worth a try to attempt something unusual.

They still require defensive work to be done on them. Tuesday night it was a touch nervous at moments. Forest would be able to accelerate much farther if they could make progress in that area.

With time running out, it might be asking a lot to have that happen before the season ends. Since it encompasses such a large portion of the game, it is worthwhile to investigate in the summer.
