END OF DEAL It is confirmed! Guard Isaiah Thomas signs a 10-day contract with the Phoenix Suns.

The Phoenix Suns formally declared through a press release that they had signed guard Isaiah Thomas, a free agent, to a 10-day deal. The veteran of 35 years arrives back in the Valley.

In his four most recent appearances, Thomas averaged 32.5 points, 6.3 three-point makes on 44.6% three-point shooting, 5.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals for the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. He turned down multiple offers from abroad in an effort to rejoin the NBA.

The Washington native has 11 years of NBA experience and is a two-time All-Star. After 550 games with Sacramento, Phoenix, Boston, Cleveland, the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver, Washington, New Orleans, Dallas, and Charlotte, Thomas has career averages of 17.7 points and 4.8 assists.

In his 46 games with the Suns in the 2014–15 campaign, the 35-year-old averaged 15.2 points and 3.7 assists.
