After fresh Everton film surfaced following their Saturday (30 March) match against Bournemouth, Alan Stubbs took a jab at Rangers.
The pundit called the Toffees’ 2-1 loss to the Cherries a “scandalous” decision and shared a footage of the team being denied a penalty on Twitter on Sunday, March 31.
Stubbs retorted that it “would have been a penalty to Rangers” in response to a Hibernian supporter who said it “should have been.”
Rangers are not loved by Alan Stubbs.
After managing Hibernian after spending several years at Celtic, it is evident that Stubbs has no affection for Rangers.
It’s odd that the Gers get dragged into so many debates concerning penalties when the topics are completely unrelated to them.
It follows their 3-1 triumph over Hibs on Saturday, when they were granted a spot kick and James Tavernier unexpectedly failed to score.
This season, the SFA has come under fire from some who feel the Light Blues have been given far too many penalties.
However, Philippe Clement has little influence over that because his only goal for this year is to assist his team in winning additional titles.
