Neil Lennon and Ally McCoist accuse Scott Brown of putting them in hot water following the touchline fight.
Jim White questioned Brown last week on talkSPORT about the “tiff” between the Rangers coach and the then-manager of the Celtics, and McCoist felt he had been set up. The legendary Gers player joked at the time that he was being ganged up on, but he handled it in stride.
This week, when Lenny was a guest on the breakfast program, the controversy that garnered national attention at the time was revisited. Since then, the two have remained close friends, and they laughed a lot about it, especially how ironic it was that Brown was questioned about the incident.

Connor Goldson acknowledges on the SPFL standard that he is “scared” of losing his Rangers spot.
Al, you’re asking the wrong man, as Browny was too occupied all night noising up El-Hadj Diouf, Lennon remarked. They were both going at it with all of their might.”
McCoist chuckled, saying, “You’re not wrong, by the way. He was the one who initiated it. And the government got into a fight with you and me about us!”
Alan Brazil then turned the conversation to Brown as a player, inquiring as to how good he was to have in those matches under his previous boss.
The man from Northern Ireland stated: “He was amazing for me. A much-underappreciated football player. His legs were so strong that he could run all day. And as time went on, his football skills improved.
“He was a really great gentleman at the changing area. A wonderful youngster, very modest boy.”
The conversation from last week
White: “You participated in a lot of Old Firm matches. What were some of the wildest incidents, and how did you interpret the well-known McCoist-Lennon touchline altercation?”
