McCoist listed some of the players he played with, including Brian Laudrup, Paul Gascoigne, Ray Wilkins, Graeme Souness, Terry Butcher, Trevor Francis, Gary Stevens, Trevor Steven, and Terry Hurlock, in a speech on talkSPORT on Friday, March 22, at 9:16 a.m.

Hurlock was praised by Parlour, who replied, “What a team.” McCoist concurred, calling the former Light Blues midfielder a “great player.”

Parlour remarked, “That team you had at the Rangers was some team.”

“Incorporate a little Terry Hurlock with Laudrup, Gazza, Wilkins, Souness, Butcher, Gary Stevens, and Trevor Stevens,” McCoist continued.

“What a team,” Parlour answered. “Is it true that Terry was a good player?”

McCoist remarked, “I loved Terry, great player.” He was a bright young man who could also play.

What a group that was, Parlour continued.

There have been several stars for Rangers at Ibrox.

Without a doubt, Rangers have had a number of famous people come through the doors at Ibrox and go on to win trophies with the team.

When you consider some of those names—some of whom have amassed a significant number of caps for their national teams—it is astounding.

Having scored over 250 goals for the team in a 15-year span, McCoist’s ability to hold his spot in the starting lineup among those guys in the building is a testament to his greatness.

Even though the Light Blues have not had a team with as much talent in it for a time, after just a few months in command, there is optimism that Philippe Clement may be onto something exceptional.

The Belgian has led his team to a great start in Glasgow, and he will be looking to add more medals to the Viaplay Cup that his team has already won this year.
