Hall, who has been with his hometown club Sheffield Wednesday for years, signed his first professional contract with the club in 2021 and has been training with the first team since he was 17.
Recently, the club confirmed that they have offered a new contract to the talented teenager, aiming to extend his stay until after the 2023/24 season. According to The Star, terms have been agreed upon, securing his commitment to Wednesday.
The young goalkeeper, who has represented England at youth levels, has been actively involved with the senior goalkeeping squad at Wednesday, seeking to learn and develop. With Pierce Charles currently the only contracted goalkeeper for next season, Hall may have more opportunities to train with the first team over the summer.
Although Hall is yet to make his first-team debut for Wednesday, he was named on the bench for FA Cup matches against Coventry City earlier this year.
It remains to be seen what the club’s plans are for Hall once he signs his new deal at Sheffield Wednesday. However, there’s a possibility that he may seek a loan move to gain valuable experience and regular playing time in senior football, having impressed at both U18 and U21 levels.
