Sunderland  approves midfielder Jobe Bellingham move to Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace is interested in Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham this summer. However, the 18-year-old’s proposals have previously been turned down by the Black Cats.
Bellingham, who relocated to Wearside from Birmingham City in a £3 million deal last summer, is being targeted by Sunderland for at least £20 million this summer.

Bellingham made 45 appearances for the Black Cats in the Championship during his rookie campaign at the Stadium of Light, scoring seven goals.

He is now an England U20 player, and the Premier League is interested in him after Tottenham Hotspur was connected to him earlier in the summer.

Bellingham’s summer transfer window is open, and although Sunderland is holding fast on their £20 million asking price, Crystal Palace is the team making the most effort to sign him.

If he departs, someone will undoubtedly need to take his place, since Regis Le Bris, the club’s new manager, is probably leery of the team disposing all of its priceless player assets this summer.

However, Bellingham’s old Birmingham City teammate Jordan James may provide the Black Cats with a suitable substitute, if not an improvement above Bellingham.
