Southampton want Armando Broja back

Chelsea are keen to sell Armando Broja, as his transfer would significantly aid their compliance with Profit and Sustainability rules. Broja spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, but the stint didn’t go as planned. The emergence of Rodrigo Muniz at Craven Cottage relegated Broja to the bench, negatively impacting his market value.

Initially, Chelsea hoped to fetch close to £50 million for Broja, but now they will have to accept less than half that amount. Broja is reportedly interested in a potential return to Southampton, where he previously enjoyed a successful loan spell.

Other clubs in for Armando Broja

TBR understands that Wolves and Everton have also expressed interest in Chelsea striker Armando Broja. Everton’s interest would be contingent on the potential sale of Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Additionally, Chelsea is in discussions with the Saudi Pro League about several squad members, including Broja, who could move to the Middle East.

Southampton urgently need a striker, with Che Adams set to leave once his contract expires this summer. A return to the south coast for Broja could benefit all parties involved. Broja played his best football at Southampton, and the fans remain appreciative of his contributions during his initial loan spell.

Described by Mauricio Pochettino as a striker with “amazing potential,” Broja might finally fulfill his promise with a permanent move to Southampton.
