The former Birmingham City player moved from St Andrew’s to the Stadium of Light last summer, joining former Blues employees Mike Dodds and Kristjaan Speakman. The transfer was estimated to be worth roughly £3 million.
Under Tony Mowbray, Michael Beale, and now Dodds—who is in interim leadership until the end of the season—Jobe has solidified his status as a vital player since the trade. This season, the 18-year-old has made 37 appearances in the Championship and scored six goals.
Due to Jobe’s impressive play, scouts are taking notice of his situation, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has linked the England youth international to Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
