Sundrland are interested in Leicester City striker Tom Cannon, who is also sought after by Sheffield United, Stoke City, and Luton Town. It’s suggested that Sunderland must act fast to have any chance of acquiring him. Signing Cannon would likely require a significant financial outlay, as Leicester aims to recoup the £7m spent on him. If a loan is considered, it would probably include an option or obligation to buy. Cannon had a challenging season at Leicester, struggling with injuries and missing both games against Sunderland.
