Sydney Sweeney and Ryan Blaney recently got together to take on the challenge of driving a NASCAR car. While the latter stayed there to give an expert hand, the former went to the racetrack to experience what she was missing out on. Following her outing in North Carolina, Sweeny was sure that she wanted a NASCAR car in her garage.

Sweeney, an American actress, was born on September 12, 1997, in Spokane, Washington. She is currently one of the most sought-after names in television series, thanks to her role in the HBO drama series Euphoria, which took her to a different level of popularity.

Sweeney rose to fame after appearing in the television series ‘Everything Sucks!’ and ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ in 2018. She was also featured in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’. She also appeared in ‘The White Lotus’, ‘Anyone but You’, ‘Madame Web’, and ‘Immaculate’.

The 27-year-old recently signed up to play Christy Martin, the former American professional boxer, in an upcoming untitled biopic. Sweeney needed an experience on the racetrack, demanded by a movie, and she could not have asked for a better man than Blaney, the 2023 Cup Series champion and 2024 runners-up.

As Sweeney experienced the taste of the premier stock car racing at NASCAR, the Euphoria star through the @syds_garage TikTok account, admitted:

“Kind of maybe thinking I need to add to my garage.”

Sydney Sweeney looked fully decked out in the racing fire suit, helmet, and black sunglasses, raring to go out. With her, she had Blaney supporting her out a week after completing his NASCAR Cup Series championship.

Ryan Blaney finished the season as runners-up behind his teammate, Joey Logano. The Team Penske driver failed to overtake Logano to defend his Cup Series title. The #12 driver finished the season with three wins, a pole position, 12 Top 5s, and 18 Top 10s. His average start position was 13.222 and his average finish position was 15.222.

Sydney Sweeney expressed her gratitude to Ryan Blaney for NASCAR experience

Following her exhilarating NASCAR experience, Sydney Sweeney took to her official social media account to thank Ryan Blaney. She wrote on Instagram:

“This is awesome. Thank you @ryanblaney10 for showing me what I’ve been missing out on.”

Interestingly, Sweeney is no stranger to the automotive world as the renowned actress herself has a passion for restoring and refurbishing old and vintage vehicles.

Furthermore, her babysitters were race car drivers as well, with whom Sweeney used to go to the track a lot, and thought to become a racing driver when she would grow up.
