Simon Jordan predicts Southampton play-off triumph
Southampton will host the second leg of their play-off against West Brom, giving them an edge as they finished higher in the regular season. This advantage, coupled with strong home support, makes Russell Martin’s side favorites. Drawing inspiration from Leeds, who succeeded at Elland Road after a 0-0 draw in the first leg, Southampton hopes to emulate this success. Simon Jordan confidently predicted Southampton’s victory over West Brom and believes they will also beat Leeds in the final.
Southampton must utilise home crowd v West Brom
Southampton supporters are encouraged to arrive early at St Mary’s to welcome the team bus at around 6pm, creating a vibrant home support. The players emphasized the positive impact of fan support, crucial for this significant match. During the first leg at The Hawthorns, West Brom fans created a similar atmosphere, leading to a strong start for their team. Southampton aims to replicate this, energizing the crowd and gaining an early advantage. Fans hope Simon Jordan’s prediction of a Southampton win comes true.
